An eventful Thursday

Bruno finally came back today! Missed that guy

Today this man got angry at a bus at a zebra crossing and stood in its path as protest for a good 15 minutes. We yelled encouragement from the stairs. He yelled at the bus driver “I Wait, YOU WAIT!” He eventually ran for it when the bus driver started calling the cops.

He stood there, checking his watch and phone like nothing was wrong. The traffic behind the bus was insane

Our class’s Christmas tree didn’t have any decorations, so my class found a creative solution, using spare clothing that was lying around as well as some we made ourselves.

Our Christmas Tree
I have the ability to get sick, regardless of health or season. I also have this massive sneeze that everyone finds frightening and amusing. I was sneezing so bad in ICT that the teacher opened the door, fearing infection. I sat by the door with a tissue roll, looking miserable, not realizing it would make the entire class laugh. Turn suffering into joy.

I bought some earrings for my Secret Santa (everyone in the class gets a person and buys them a gift “secretly”) and went home where I toke an hour nap. Then I woke up and I did absolutely nothing. It was beautiful, like San Ma Lao was that day.

Tuesday, December 4th, a sloth’s slumber

  • Chinese teacher got angry today, only one person did his homework…(aha! No pronoun concord!)
  • Slept in literature because I read ahead
  • Made a database for another South Indian Company. If there not selling tea its cars, boats, kites…
  • Had basketball practice after school. I swear we relearn the plays every time
  • Unproductive is an understatement for the rest of my day. I’m writing this and I cannot recall what I’ve done. Whoopsie.

Monday, December 3rd, a collection of happenings and thoughts

  • Discussed the likelihood of the end of the world and what we would do in that situation
  • spent biology with Bruno trying to find the smallest part of the cell so we could draw less
  • spent some time playing “Ghost trick” on the ipad. Brilliant
  • Learned more on how to wear neck wear (scarfs and ties)
  • wasted hours on youtube again
  • practised shuffling cards again, getting better at the doves tail

Saturday and Sunday: A long posts

I begun Saturday with my regular morning ritual: laying in bed in a state of limbo using my iPod touch until I’m out of battery. I was about to own this player on Zookeeper Battles when it blacked out. Then I realized what time it was. I burst from the house to have ICT class.

After the class we had to rush to the Westin on the sub island Coloane to watch our friends dance crew perform for an event. Turned out we were an hour early and our rushed efforts where for nothing. We toke the opportunity to run the entire beach and get some beach bbq. I dropped my phone in the mud on the way, and now I can’t hear anyone when they call me -,-.

Thursday and Friday: A medium sized post

Today marks the end of my experiments on shorter more compact daily stories. I tried them Monday to Wednesday with varying results. Generally, I got more likes, which is good.

Days really seem to be flying away. My brother had been on a school trip this week allowing me to make full use of my speakers. He returns tomorrow.

I am having those days where you can do a lot, but you don’t feel like you accomplished anything. You still feel…unproductive, and empty.

My brother has finally returned from Lijiang! I missed him lots :). He comes in, and after a quick greeting he turns on his computer and plays some dubstep…

Today was more productive than yesterday by a huge margin. I did some math, read and generally felt like I was doing something useful.

School was very relaxed. I only think I had one period of light weight work. The rest of it was just an easing in. We watched game trailers all Chinese, played charades in English and played Dodge ball in P.E. A good start to a laid back weekend.

A quick Wednesday post

  • Finished reading the Hobbit which concludes my summer reading list…three months after it ended. Really enjoyed the fantasy world and setting. J.R Tolkien remains one of my favorite writers
  • Played League of Legends with some buddies for the first time in months
  • A bit de-sensitized to time due to four free periods at school. Got to read some of my articles on Pocket (which was a getting ridiculously long as I just throw stuff on there)
  • Suffice to say, not much happened at school

A quick Tuesday post

  • Finished listening to 4×4=12. Rather unimpressed. It was repetitive and boring most of the time. Respect to “A City in Florida,” for being the only song I like on there
  • Weather is freezing over here, thankfully mother has bought me a scarf. It’s green, just the way I like it :).
  • Learned Spanish in free period today. Ola! Buenos Dias! Mi Nome es  senhor Jose. Tango deci-seite anos. Yo viena de Macau.
  • Spent English Literature making eraser into ammo for my ruler catapult
  • Wrote my resume including all miscellaneous achievements

A good friends birthday weekened

It’s getting chilly here in Macau. It was around 25-21 ºC during the week but today its 21-15 ºC. Brrrr. At least that means I can bring in the heavy weight winter clothes, but that sadly leaves me unable to wear hoodies to often again.

Today we celebrated my grandmother’s birthday by having a family lunch at Star World. It was at a fancy all you can eat dim sum restaurant. All my grandmother’s daughters and sons showed up to celebrate. My over-punctual aunt was calling everyone to get there, when she herself wasn’t there herself! She even researched what food she wanted the night before and ticked it out on a menu she had acquired. She even brought a pencil and eraser there -,-. Despite her constant nagging we had a good meal, chatting and eating ourselves silly. My aunt has a tendency to over order at these type of restaurants, just to make sure its worth the expense.

Later that day in the afternoon Joel and Nicole came over. We met up with even more people and picked up the pizzas. My friend Joel was having his sweet sixteen party and we needed to make sure he was well stocked :).
